It's a wrap: Posh's 'bacofoil' corset reveals she's lost more than that extra half an inch

Style queen Victoria Beckham famously wrote a book detailing how to get that extra half an inch.
But in her revealing gold 'bacofoil-style' corset, the Spice Girl looks as if she is in need of it herself.
Victoria, 33, showed off her metallic look corset, which had the unfortunate effect of making her resemble a trussed up Sunday roast, as she rehearsed with her fellow Spices, in advance of their comeback reunion tour.

Not only that, but compared with a similar corseted look at a photocall for the group when they announced their reunion tour earlier this year, Victoria has clearly lost inches from her once prominent bustline.
Earlier this week, the Spice Girl was seen at the filming of fellow Spice Girl Mel B's recording of Dancing With the Stars looking much less perky in a certain area.
With her once gravity-defying assets appeared to have deflated somewhat.

Embarassingly, the self-styled fashionista was once forced to admit she had had breast implants in a court document for a libel trial.
It is unclear whether her new look is the result of further surgery.
Posh's 'bacofoil' look came as sketches of their tour costumes, designed by Roberto Cavalli, were released.

The Spice Girls reunion tour starts Sunday. And a nervous Posh is reported to have banned husband David from attending.
David said: "One minute Victoria is saying she wants me there and then it's 'No, don't come to the first show, as we'll all be too nervous'."
But, he added: " I'll be at the show a couple of days later in San Jose and have the boys with me. And I know Victoria will ring me as soon as the first show ends."

Christina Aguilera bares her baby bump on cover of American magazine

Diva Christina Aguilera has bared her baby bump to the world, appearing in a saucy shoot for American magazine Marie Claire. The "Sexy Mama" shoot, featured in the January 2008 issue of Marie Claire, reveals that the baby was an unexpected surprise for the singer and husband Jordan Bratman.
"We were planning on starting to try after the tour," she is quoted by Hollywood gossip website Perez Hilton as saying in the article.

"And so, I had gone off the Pill to prepare my body, because I didn't know how much time it would take. You've heard it takes some time.
"Except with Power Egg and Super Sperm here ... I'm like, Oh, my God, can you believe it just happened?"
The pregnancy - discovered when she still had a month left on tour - left her wearing a heart monitor on stage as she took extra care to protect the baby.

"I was paranoid," she reportedly admitted.
"There are so many things that could go wrong—somebody could slip, somebody could fall, I could fall. There was no way in hell I was going to jeopardize my baby for my show.
"I didn't want to make the audience uncomfortable, like, 'Pregnant lady onstage! Is she going to be OK?' But I had to announce it to my band and my dancers, because I wanted to make sure they had my back."
Aguilera also reportedly spoke on the fact that her pregnancy was announced to the world by the less-than-discreet Paris Hilton.
"Because I hadn't said anything, people thought I was trying to keep it this big, bad secret, and that's not the case at all. I just wasn't commenting. I'm not being like, 'Hey, everybody, I'm pregnant!' I'm not that girl."

Big Pants and the City: Sarah Jessica Parker reveals her supersized briefs

It turns out Sarah Jessica Parker's character Carrie Bradshaw has more in common with Bridget Jones that just bad luck with men.
Aside from heartache and a trail of terrible dates, both it seems, have a penchant for oversized pants.

Sarah Jessica was caught wearing unflattering beige underwear as she filmed scenes at the New York Public Library for the highly anticipated Sex and the City movie.

While the petite mother of one hardly appears to need any help in looking slim, she was perhaps just after a little extra coverage in the windy conditions.
The 42-year-old has remained tight lips amid much speculation about the movie's plot.
She said recently: "I can't give the story away but I can say it will involve two weddings and no funerals!"
Meanwhile, Victoria Beckham recently turned down a cameo in the film due to her rigorous touring schedule with the Spice Girls.
She said last week: "I got asked to be in the Sex And The City film, which I would love to have done."
"But because I am in full-on Spice Girls rehearsals, unfortunately I can't do it. It would have been great fun."
But sources say movie bosses won't take no for an answer, and are trying frantically to fit her into their filming schedule.
The movie is set to hit screens in the US in May.

The British Fashion Awards 2007

Stella McCartney, Vivienne Westwood, Agyness Deyn... the biggest names in British Fashion were out on the town last night at the British Fashion Awards.
And it wasn't a bad night for these girls: Stella scooped the designer of the year accolade, Dame Vivienne took home the outstanding achievement in fashion design award and Agyness walked away with the model of the year prize.
But enough of all that. What we really want to know is, what were the most fashionable people in Britain actually wearing?

Miss Boho Does Edgy (Very Well)

Her day-to-day uniform might be Ugg boots and leggings, but when the occasion calls, Sienna Miller knows how to rise to it.
For the new issue of Pop Magazine, exclusive images of which are revealed here, the 25-year-old actress is given a striking new identity that even her boyfriend, Rhys Ifans, might struggle to recognise - particularly after a few beers. We have done covers of Pop where there is nudity and not much clothing. This time I wanted to have a lot of fashion in the image," said Katie Grand, editor of Pop.
"That's why Sienna is wearing a lot of make-up, too, in a way we've never seen her do before."
Glam rock is a dead cert to take the high street by storm next season. First spotted on the catwalk at Prada and Yves Saint Laurent, it is also a popular look among London clubbers, while Kylie Minogue is currently using a Ziggy Stardust look on the sleeve of her new single.

What Miller wears, the high street copies - it's why, two summers ago, the shops were full of boho chic.
Not that Miller is at all impressed with this term, saying she would "merrily kill" the person who invented it.

She voices misgivings about her relationship with Jude Law, which ended acrimoniously in 2005 after he admitted an affair with his children's nanny.
"I fell in love with someone who was incredibly famous. That is what happened. I hate regrets. It was a beautiful time in my life. And that was the way it was meant to be. But a certain part of me wishes that I maybe had a film out before that attention started because it has been a constant battle since.
"I met him during a film which I fought very hard for and it was a big achievement to get that role. I'd done theatre and been to drama school and suddenly it was just about what I wore and who I was with. It was never about my work and it's still very hard for it to be about my work."

High Fashion Does Chav

Kate Moss took inspiration for her fancy dress outfit for pal Davinia Taylor's 30th birthday party from an interesting source - chav princess Vicky Pollard.
The 33-year old model looked more Croydon than cosmopolitan as she scraped her blonde locks back into Pollard-style bunches, wore a black pleather (plastic leather) jacket, and wet-look black leggings.Model Naomi Campbell thoroughly embraced the 80s theme, and looked particularly tacky, as she turned up in a pair of unflattering transparent leopard-skin tights with a G-string on top.
Like pal Kate, she wore her hair in Pollard-style bunches, and carried a glow-stick, and whistle for the evening's 80s rave theme.

Key Trends For This Season

High street Bags scraped after clone claims

Sleek, stylish and reassuringly expensive, the Marin clutch bag by Jimmy Choo is considered one of this season's "must have" fashion items.
And it seems that bosses at a rival clothes firm thought that if that's the case, then they must have it too.
Now High Street clothes store Warehouse has been forced to destroy thousands of similar bags after they were deemed to be too similar to Jimmy Choo's original design.

The out-of-court settlement is the latest in a series of copyright battles which have seen haute-couture designs replicated then sold for a fraction of the original's cost on the High Street.
In this case, the original Jimmy Choo clutch bag was seen on the arms of no-less a fashionista than Victoria Beckham, as well as actresses Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff. It sells for £650.
The Warehouse version, though lacking in celebrity endorsements, retailed for a somewhat more modest £20.
Yesterday it was revealed that the Jimmy Choo copyright action against Warehouse has led to the High Street store agreeing to pay £14,000 in damages as well as having to destroy their stock of the replica bags.
A spokesman for Warehouse said the firm has launched an investigation into how the bag ended up on sale, saying: "Warehouse would never deliberately copy anybody else's designs.
"When Jimmy Choo pointed out the similarities between the two handbags we immediately withdrew the product from sale."

Jimmy Choo's glamorous boss Tamara Mellon has been assiduous in clamping down on perceived copies of her company's designs.
In December last year Marks and Spencer had to destroy thousands of £9.50 handbags after they were found to be uncannily similar to a £495 Jimmy Choo version.
And in September last year the budget New Look chain had to withdraw thousands of pairs of it Bonbon shoe and pay £80,000 compensation after Jimmy Choo threatened legal action.
Though in this latest case Warehouse claims it is "mortified" by the allegation that it copied the handbag design, other High Street accused of doing the same. may not be quite so disappointed.
In July this year Topshop was forced to withdraw a £35 dungaree-styled minidress which was extremely similar to a £185 Chloe version.
Commentators claimed that while the furore cost the High Street store money in sales of the dress, it also served to cement the Topshop's reputation for identifying designer trends and translating them into affordable version.
Dids Macdonald, chief executive of the industry watchdog Anti Copying in Design has said that copyright theft is "endemic" in the fashion industry, saying: "High Street retailers need to be much more careful about the way they imitate others."

Former Vogue magazine accessories editor Tamara Mellon founded the Jimmy Choo company in 1996 after spotting a niche for the elegant shoes made my Malaysian-born Mr Choo.
Mr Choo sold out in 2001, but the firm went on to become one of the most fashionable brands in the world - providing haute-couture shoes for numerous Oscar night outfits.
Earlier this year the company was valued at £185 million. Part of the reason for the company's success has been the glamorous Miss Mellon's high media profile.

Ugly Victoria

She is known for her scene-stealing red-carpet appearances - and in her cameo for hit US show Ugly Betty, Victoria Beckham showed she's not above making fun of her A-list image.

But on this occasion she soon gets her come-uppance during her guest performance on the hit show Ugly Betty, which aired in the States last night.

Victoria, 33, stole the show from under veteran actress Vanessa Williams' nose, as her typically uber-glam look ensured she took centre stage.

She made her comedy show debut with her catchphrase "It's major", bursting through the curtain at her dress fitting.

Wilhelmina looked on in horror as her assistants dashed to Posh's side, cooing over her sense of style.
And when she saw her maid of honour getting more TV coverage than her before the big day it was the final straw.
Wilhelmina locked the Spice Girl in a hotel room while she headed to her wedding ceremony.
Victoria previously said she really enjoyed shooting Ugly Betty - but did not intend to take up acting full time.
"That was so much fun," she told Ryan Seacrest's US radio show.
"I get asked to do a few film things and TV things, but I'm not interested in being an actress.
"This interested me because it's about fashion and it's so much fun. I love the show."
In a newly released teaser clip for the Channel 4 show, Posh, playing herself, is maid of honour to Ugly Betty Wilhelmina (Vanessa Williams) - who is set to wed Alan Dale's Bradford Meade.
Of course, Posh's starring role wasn't complete without a head-to-toe designer outfit - she looked right at home in a figure-hugging Vera Wang dress.
The Spice Girl was reportedly paid £75,000 for the cameo appearance in the episode, called Nice Day For A Posh Wedding. It will be shown in the UK on E4 on 21 November and on Channel 4 two days later.
