Rihanna shows off a new haircut at the 2008 NRJ Music Awards in Cannes. The singer won the award for Best International Song - Don’t Stop The Music. It's always the case when a lady goes a short bob, they always tend to then go for the big chop, leaving them with a slinky crop.

Milan Menswear runway shows are wrapping up soon after almost a month of anticipated new designs from the likes of Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, and Fendi. These shows brought in travelers including Jay-Z & Beyonce (who supposedly caused quite a stir at the Versace show), Ludacris and Chaka Zulu for Giorgio Armani, and Pharrell - who is of course the poster boy for Louis Vuitton.
In the event that I don’t cover men’s fashion as often as I would like, I decided to do a roundup on the trends that ruled the runway thus far. Surely some of these designs may not be ideal off the runway, but they are inspiration for many. So guys, take a look at what the big guns have in store for Autumn ‘08.

A Thin Fashion Line Between 07/08

2007 was full of new sounds from artists. With Kanye & Daft Punk’s Stronger being one of the years hottest songs, it opened the door for a new international sound for Hip Hop.
With that international party sound comes international party fashion that made its way down some of Spring 2008 runway shows. Bright colors, fun patterns, and techno shoes shows what New Wave is all about. As this sound evolves more in music this year (with upcoming albums from Erykah, Janet and Beyonce to name a few), this style trend will definitely evolve as well. Although fashion is recycled and made some how current by adding a popular edge, take for instance the 80's pvc look, but when glancing current trends, they seem to be recycled anually. This years key looks slighty differ from last years.

So ladies don't throw last years garms into the rubbish bin, keep them, accessorise and customise!

Black On Black Support

Barack Obama and many of his celebrity supporters stopped by South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, S.C., on Tuesday to speak with the students. Among the celebs were Kerry Washington, Chris Tucker, and Usher.

These snaps are real warm and show geniune support, for Candidate Obama. We here across the pond should show the same love for one another.

!Not Another Wannabe

While Jordans seems to distancing herself from her former image, sad Chantelle Houghton from Celebrity Big Brother fame has decided to step into Jordan's (white stiletto's) and become her unofficial look-a-like. Her streaked hair, thigh-skimming dress and of course, recently enlarged breasts, completed the copycat look and her lips also look like they've been very close to some collagen injections.

Chantelle has previously said: "I love Jordan and what she's done in her life. I hope to achieve the same."

But while tries to re-create herself into a polished celebrity with newly dyed chestnut brown hair and having her breast implants reduced making her appear more real than plastic and shunning away from the Pamela Anderson barbie image, Chantelle is transforming herself into something Jordan clearly wants to leave behind. Perhaps Chantelle has forgotten her former occupation. Paris Hylton look-a-like.

The Moors Vs The Moss'

On first glance, the chilling stare, peroxide-blonde hair and snow-white skin are unmistakeably that of convicted child-killer Myra Hindley pictured in the same woollen coat she wore for her 1965 mugshot.
But on closer inspection, the mouth is noticeably more of a model pout, and the face prettier - as the person pictures is revealed as supermodel Kate Moss - and Myra's evil partner Ian Brady is unveiled as her former paramour Pete Doherty.

Moss, who last week celebrated her 34th birthday with an 18-hour wild party, has chillingly been turned into one-half of the notorious moors murderers by Yorkshire-born artist, Russell Young.
And Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty is shown as a babyfaced Ian Brady, Hindley's partner in the infamous crime spree.
Images of the celebrity couple were superimposed on the original mugshots using computer technology and then printed on canvases with alternate gold and silver sheens.
The pictures were exhibited at the London Art Fair in Islington, north London, where many onlookers were convinced they were the original depiction of the moors murderers.
Now all four images have been sold by the Bankrobber gallery for what is thought to be £28,000.
The work is meant as an observation on the self-destructive hedonism of some of Britain's biggest celebrities.
And both Moss and Doherty, who have been photographed taking cocaine, are the perfect embodiment of that.
Artist Young, who is married to actress Finola Hughes of General Hospital fame, described the image as his "ultimate picture, the perfect storm, a perfect combination of fame and shame".

Ladies Love Yourselves!

Calling out to all my ladies who hate their nose, loathes their chubby cheeks and despise their thick or thin lips.

Well your individual and unique features make you beautiful. Please Remember that. Dont try and conform to what others see as perfect. Really think about, who told them what true beauty is?

Surprisingly today I discovered that two famous icons Kimora-Lee and Amerie have had plastic surgery(nose jobs) and the only reason I can see behind is money and self-hatred.

Mariah has large forehead which makes her beautiful, Angie has thick lips which enchances her beauty and Kate Moss has crocked teeth but you don't see her getting less modelling jobs, do you? If these stars cosmetically reserved their features, do you think they would be as beautiful.

The answer is simply: NO!

It looks like Ghita, the burgeoning fashion line, headed by Alexis Phifer (Kanye's Boo) is developing some celebrity fans. Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls can currently be seen rocking an asymmetrical metallic dress from the label in Timbaland's video for "Scream".
In case you think Alexis is only designing clothes because she's hooked up with the "Louis Vuitton Don", she's actually quite legit. Chick graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in LA. In fact Kanye credits her with upgrading his style a la Beyonce. The stylish duo were also featured in the most fabulous of editorial spreads in Harper's Bazaar over the summer.

Singer Kelis made an appearance at the movie premiere for 'First Sunday' (starring Ice Cube and Katt Williams) yesterday. Mrs. Jones was looking good. On a side note, I'm hoping she gets snapped up by another label soon (having parted ways with Jive late last year); the industry needs artists like her.
I'm not really liking the haircut but only Kelis can get away with it(she makes it look good). I think it's called a BOWL CUT.

Of course, leather is the perfect chill covering, but with so many designers offering different styles and silhouettes of the material on Fall/Winter runways (Louis Vuitton and Hermes, are few of many) - ladies could go beyond just a nice leather jacket in 2008. MARC JACOBS’ RIHANNA HANDBAG

Rihanna seems to be a favorite for designers for their Spring 2008 collections. First, she modeled down the Dsquared runway show, and now Marc Jacobs has added her to his list of celebrity named handbags. The Rihanna bag that premiered from his Spring line, is roomy in size with a large twist-lock closure front flap pocket and aged silver metal hardware.

The purse comes in two styles available on eluxury - a silver leather/suede version ($2,075) and a distressed metallic version ($1,650). Lets see how many versions Rihanna will be carrying herself.

KIMORA & DJIMON IN HARPER’S BAZAAR

Check out Kimora Lee Simmons and her boyfriend model/actor Djimon Hounsou in a recent issue of Harpar’s Bazaar. The good looking couple spoke about their relationship in the mag. Djimon insists that Kimora isn’t as high maintenance as people think and Kimora says that he is “compelling and sweet.”
Djimon on Kimora:

“My first impression has always been the same: that she’s a beautiful lady, very capable and intelligent and smart with great family values. You see her reality show, and some would call her a quote-unquote high-maintenance lady. Some people may look at it as if it’s a honeymoon stage, but she’s the least high-maintenance lady I’ve ever dated. I’ll bet my hand on that. Or however you say it.”
